Andy has played in various bands since age 16 from thrash metal to old school hardcore to goth. His diverse influences include Dave Murray (Iron Maiden), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Piggy (Voivod) and Vinny Stigma (Agnostic Front) just to name a few. Andys strong points are his riff writing ability and recording studio patience. His stage presence style is not wild and over the top but serious and thoughtful. For this, he has been teased by the other members of Crushpile as being in the zone, having a game face while performing and being Robotic. All of thats fine because Andys main role in the band is the technical aspects of song writing and rhythmic support and every once in a while breaking into a purely nonsensical (but planned) guitar solo. |
